Hello Raghuramireddy vennapusa,
Note:
You can not directly upgrade the database to Db2 10.5 or 11.1. (note#101809)
Please upgrade to Db2 9.7 first.
101809 - DB6: Supported Db2 Versions and Fix Pack Levels
Thank you.
Kind regards
Maria

Dear Maria,
i'm clear about my question and your answer but my manager requesting more specific to check with you on below.
[raghu] are you saying the source DB and the target DB must be different for using DMO tool?
[raghu] DMO cannot be used when source and target DB are the same regardless of whether it is DB6, oracle, mssqsl, is my understanding correct?
[raghu] okay.
[raghu] are you saying that there is no other tool except DMO to automate the migration?
Thank you,
Raghu
