Embedded Desig Control Libary 11.5 - Delphi Application

I'm developing a Delphi application using the embedded design component and viewer.

I've got most of it working apart from when I try and click the 'Save to Crystal Reports File' button on the embedded control I get an exception error. - Not sure how to get around this ?

Any one had experience using this component (either in VB or Delphi).

What SDK are you using for the embedded design component?

Report Design Component (CRAXDDRT) or .NET?

I'm using CRAXDDRT. I've got around it by hiding the 'Save Report' button on the toolbar and creating my own which runs the savereport function. It would be nice to know why I'm getting the error though.

Is it possible you were trying to save over the same report you had open to run?

It will error in that case because it is in use.

I have tried to open the file both with option 0 and 1 (temporary copy). Both give error messages.

Anyway, I've taken this button out of the app and used my own instead.
