Infoset or multicube

Dear all,

i have;

0version 0plant 0material 0quantity in my cube;

0costelement 0plant 0material in my other cube.

My problem is I need to fill my first cube with 0costelement without adding any record but updating existing records.

how can i do that?

or can i use info set and get reports from these cubes as follows:

0version 0plant 0material 0costelement 0quantity?

Hi,

You can go for multiprovider in that u have to select the object u want.........u will get report on this.

well, my records is as follows:

First cube

version plant material quantity

A 1000 MAT A 20 PC

A 2000 MAT A 10 PC

A 1000 MATB 30 PC

plant material cost element

2000 MATA 2001100

1000 MATA 2001190

1000 MATB 120000

multiprovider and restricting unwanted records in query level sounds fine for me,

however when i check records from multi provider i see double records as follows:

1. line A 1000 MAT A 20 PC

2. line 1000 MATA 2001190

why i do not see that in one line?

Hi,

If you want to filter the records, you may use condition at query level.

As you are using a Infoset, it will bring all the records for the characteristics common to both info providers.

i have 10 records in my first cube, 450 in my other cube,

after that i only want to see my 10 records, however updated with 0costelement.

Hi,

u can filter the record as per ur requierment in reporting level.
