Internal error 'processDPCommands' API Error:WIS 30270

We are reporting over the SAP BW.We are able to setup a universe connection for Infocubes.But when I try to run the query from Infoview it gives the following error:

An internal error occurred while calling the 'processDPCommands' API. (Error: WIS 30270)

And the error appears immediately on clicking Run Query.

Where as when I run the query on default Activity universe it works fine.

What Could be the reason?

Also it could be because the prompt conflict between BW variables.. which will work as mandatory propmts in BO reports and BO Report prompts which are being applied in Query Panel.

This seems to be a default error message and there have been a number of reasons for it

It appears sometimes when the wrong version of Java is installed. Uninstalling it and reinstalling can solve the problem. However in your case this seems unlikely since you have the activity universe working.

Another is that the report is not connecting to the universe correctly. Try importing the universe, change the parameter description and reexport.
