Account Determination - Sales Order

Dear Friends,

We can see account determination analysis in billing document after saving it.

Similar function seems to be available at sales order level too.

In sales order we have the path : Environment --> Analysis --> Account Determination.

But i dont see anything appearing in the analysis screen.

Please help how this can be seen,

Hi

Billing is an SD-FI interface and it is the last process in the Sale process chain from SD point of view.

Once the Billing is saved all data are transferred to FI /Accounting and a corrosponding accounting document is generated.

System automatically posts the right amounts in the appropriate G/L accounts which is possible beacuse of the Account determination set for the Billing type.

So,account determination is set for the respective Billing type , I mean the Account determination procedure is assigned to the Billing type.

Therefore you can see the account determination analysis in the Billing document and not in Sales order even though the function is vailable.

Dear Friend,

The Account Determination Analysis screen is blank in your case because no GL accounts are determined at Sales Order Level.

As the system does Account Determination at Billing Document level the data is available in Billing Documents.
