Hi All,
We have a problem where the text fields description and long text, within a number of our security roles cannot be changed when in change mode. An error message is being recieved sying the text can only be change in the master language DE.
After initially investigating this it appears that there is an entry against the master language attribute in table AGR_FLAGS controlling this.
Does anyone know how to amend this table and will removing the attribute resolve my issue ?
Thanks
Simon

Hi Simon,
As a temporary solution, you can login via DE language and change it.
Thanks and regards, Pradeep

Hello,
You can change the original language through transaction SE63!
There is another option to assign attributes to roles:-
In transaction PFCG in SAP-internal systems, there is an SAP Internal tab page that you can use to maintain additional attributes.
Choose Other Attributes ® Country, Industry, and so on ® New Entries.
● Attribute Type: Different Configuration Indicators
Note that the NWBC runtime only evaluates the MISC attribute.
● Attribute Value: Value in the format NWBC.Attribute=Value
Make sure that no empty spaces are added before and after the equal sign.
The following attributes are supported:
NWBC.Cockpit=cockpit
If this tag is not set, and a user is assigned the respective role, this role is shown in all cockpits. However, if this role is selected for only one or only a few cockpits, it is shown only in the cockpits affected.
This attribute can be set more than once, and once for each cockpit the role is assigned to.

Geetha

Have you actually read the note I've linked to? There is a program error that prevents SE63 to change a roles' language because the master language is set incorrectly. The note contains ABAP sourcecode for a report to modify table entries directly.

Why did you post this? It looks completely irrelevant to me. What does assigning attributes do to correct an error? And it looks copy-pasted without reference to its source as well. I kindly request you to (re-)read the forum rules.
