MRP History

Hi,

Its there's tcode for MRP History where they I can track MRP details such as who run it, when it was run, what was the planning mode used? I will be using Material number as a reference.

Hi,

For this there is no Standard T-code is available.

Using MD05 you can see the last MRP run results.

I still need the MRP history. I just used ME5a as a reference for all PR created since PR is created everytime i run the MRP.

Hi PP gurus,

I have run a MRP for a certain material using MD02, using many sales Order with different creation date and requested delivery date. It was supposed to create PR for all sales order. However, there are some sales orders that have been excluded in creation of PR. Can someone please explain me how does MRP exclude Sales order in creation of PR through MRP run?

Hi Chrisell,

To the best of my knowledge SAP overwrites the MRP planning result & does not keep all the history.

You can use the FM -> MD_MRP_LIST_API to get most of the data you're looking for.

T-code: SE37, specify the FM & test by passing the material nos & plant. After execution, check in export parameters, the structures - E_MDKP & E_MT61D will give you header details.

But i think it would be better if you ask your abaper to write a Z report calling this FM & you can give him/her your specifications.

Go to SE37 > enter MD_MRP_LIST_API > Click the Function Module on Menu Bar and select TEST.

Hi Chrisell,

Check SPRO-> Production Planning -> MRP -> Check of performance settings -> Check MRP storage mode for MRP list

Here if there is a tick mark for the plant your looking at, only then the data is stored in transparent table. SAP does not recomend this purely for performance & data load issues, therefore it is stored as aggregated format.

The tables are:

The transparent storage takes place in the table MDTB, whereas the aggregated format is stored in table MDTC.

Im looking for MRP result for every MRP run for a specfic material. (all MRP result for a month not the latest one). Table MDKP only shows the latest result of the MRP RUn as well as who run it.

Please im looking for immediate answer.

Hi,

After running MRP the MRP results for each and every materials can be viewed in MD05 screen. This will contain only the latest MRP run results.

It will not contain the history of the MRP run.

Hi,

It is not possible to track MRP histroy for i month. You can ask you basis guy to give limited authorisation for md01/md02 transaction.

You can see the last MRP run date in t.code MD05 or MDKP table. If you want to track who run it, i think it is not possible, using authorization you can restrict it.
