I am facing an error as soon as i log into portal and click on any of the roles.

Below is the error I am facing, if somebody could throw some light on this, it would be of great help.

thanks in advance.

Hi Santhosh,

I guess you were trying to view your ESS/MSS iview which lead to this error. At first please check for the URL.

Go To VisualAdmin--Services ->Deploy ->Select "Applications" radiobutton.

Select the application you want to and click on "StartApplication" button.

And try accessing the URL.

Also Please deploy the webdynpro application once agian or please verify the name of the webdynpro app also (Case sensitive) and check the SLD connections in the webdynpro content administrator and test the Jco connection once.

Finally check the UWL configuration.

Hoope these 3 options might help you solving it.

Hi,

The role you have clicked contains worksets for MSS (Manager self service). May be some configuration is missing. Except MSS and ESS, are you getting such errors in other roles? If yes, then mention the error. Else conslt some ESS/MSS expert on what configurations are missing (In case you use them).
