Window xxx already exists (sapscript)

Hi experts,

I have created a WINDOW named PAGECNT in PAGE NEXT. For some reason I have deleted the WINDOW PAGECNT, and now I wish to create the same window named PAGECNT. But system prompt error, "Window PAGECNT already exists".

I dont understand why? As I cannot find any PAGECNT in all pages.

Please help.

Hi,

I think u have not deleted the WINDOW exactly. U have only deleted the assignment of the window to the particular page. Go to WINDOWS , u can see the window. In the Editor make whatever changes u want it now and assign to the desired page using PAGE WINDOWS tab.

I have checked in the WINDOW, there is no PAGECNT window anymore.

But I fail to create the PAGECNT window.

Just wonder why...?

If it is not there ,then u can perfectly create it,save and activate and try.

There is no such WINDOW name PAGECNT in both FIRST and NEXT page.

Hi,

Follow the steps:

1.Go to SE71. There u can see 5 tabs PAGES,WINDOWS,PAGE WINDOWS, PARAGRAPH FORMATS,CHARACTER FORMATS.

2. Click on WINDOWS tab.There u can see all windows u have created irrespective of the pages.

3. There see for PAGECNT window. If its not there GOTO -> CREATE ELEMENT -> create the element.

4.CLICK PAGE WINDOWS -> give the name of the PAGE (first page ) -> EDIT -> CREATE ELEMENT -> Double click the window (PAGECNT).

REPEAT 4 STEP FOR PAGE 2.

Hi,

Try this .

Goto windows,then select PAGECNT,edit,delete element.

Hope this works
