Error during a Role Import

Hi,

I am trying to configure SAP Authentication based on Ingo's blogs, but when I try to import the roles , I get the following error message and have not been able to proceed further.

Exception in JSP: /jsp/auth/sapsec_import_role.jsp:22 19: 20: <% 21: String context=secSAPR3ImportRoleBean.getContextPath(); 22: secSAPR3ImportRoleBean.init(request); 23: response.setHeader("Expires", "0"); 24: %> 25: Stacktrace:

Has anyone encountered a similar problem before and if so what did they do to solve it ?

Additional information about this install is that I am trying to make BO connect to ECC and not BI

Thanks,

Kaushal.

    Hi,

    - did you deploy the SAP Java Connector ?

    - are you using an app server with system number or a message server with logon group ?

    - did you check that the SAP credentials you are using have the necessary authorizations ?

    thanks

    Ingo

      Hi Sebastian,

      Thanks for the reply. The funny thing about this is that I actually tried the reverse of copying the sapjcorfc.dll into the sysWOW64 folder and it seemed to work. I wouldnt have thought of researching the need for that without you mentioning it. There is a lot to learn with the compatability of the current systems running on a 64 bit OS which use a 32 bit application. But thanks for your help.

      Regards,

      Kaushal.
