CLASSIFICATION in CMR

Dear all,

In Customer master Change mode...In Menu Extras----> i can see one field "_Classification_"..

If i click on that ....System is going in Diff Screen and asking abt Class...

My Question is...What is the Functinality of this filed...and Which Scnerio we can use it?

You can use that classfication and class at the time of variant configuration scenario.

Please can you elaborate me on this...In VC i can maintain the Class to material Becose it has a link to Charecterstics and Values......this calss i can assign to Material master...so that i can choose Values for this material in SO....but how can i in Customer master....

i can appreciate the members if any body explain with Example...
