gurus,

i have one company code under which we have two plants A & B,Aasigned to profit center A,plant B is assigned TO profit center B, we have the setting plant A--->profit center A,PLANT B TO PROFIT CENTER B,

PROBLEM WHEN WE DO MBIA FOR PLANT A SYSTEM IS PICKING PROFIT CENTER B ,

HOW IT IS POSSIBLE IS THERE ANY SETTING IN FI WHICH HAVE PRIORITY OVER MATERIAL MASTER.

Hello,

Earlier we also face the same problem. We created one substitution in FI like if my plant is A then profit center field will be substituted by the plant.

Steps to create substitution:

Go to GGB1 under financial accounting head choose line item and create new item and step.

prerequisite:

BSEG-WERKS = A

substitute:

Choose profit center

When you go for substitution system will show one popup choose there .Field - Field assignment

in field assignment give as BSEG-WERKS.

And Go to OBBH give company code, callup point 2, give substitution name, active level 1.

Hi Sankar,

this is the setting

for plant 0733 profit center is 0733

for plant0089 profit center 0089,

noe my requirement system should take always above combination,

eventhough the setting in material master is different,

now for prerequisite: what will be the formula?

please help me out.

Use Derivation for profit centerand plant in transaction 8KES.
