I'm doing a PoC for migrating custom (Plain) XML to EDI BIC mappings.
When either creating a Set containing nested inner Sets or importing an xsd describing the same, there seems to be a limitation regarding the number of characters that can be stored in the table B2B_PLA_CTRL_MSG, field STATUS_CURRENT (32 characters). The values stored here a concatenation of ENV|<SetName>|<InnerSetName>|... If the set names are too long an error message is returned (see attached PNG).
Is there a workaround for this?
Thank you for your comment, Konrad.
We had to implement a similar approach for our needs.
Take care!
Kind reagrds,

Hi Johan,
currently there is no workaround for this. 😞
I started to use short segment names as S_711, S_71T, etc. for not reaching the limitations. As far as I know we opened an incident because of this. I will ask if there are any news.
Kind regards
Konrad Thalheim
