CTS+ and CHARM?

What is the difference between CTS+ and CHARM?? Is it better to use one over the other?

Casey,

the difference:

ChaRM is designed to be a workflow for changes and makes teams use development cycles.

CTS+ is mainly just used for the logistics of transports.

Are you not using some kind of CTS (or CTS+) as part of CHARM?

your link doesn't say CTS is the Admin execution and governance of change projects. That's the defintion of ChaRM.

CTS is Change and Transport System, which is needed for ChaRM but can be used without ChaRM.

CTS+ just adds the One-Transport-Order (OTO) part to CTS.

Yes CHARMS uses CTS+ .........we cannot move the NON ABAP objects earlier which are possible now with the help of CTS+.

So to overcome this CTS+ is launched and is clearly mentioned in the below pdf on page 2 & 3.
