Deprecition not working on actual run

Hi,

During the test run for depreciation posting no error occurs but on the actual run error list "please specify internal number range" appears. Then I assigned the number range for depreciation posting to "internal" instead of external. However, error list "please assign external number range to doc number "03"(doc number for dep posting) appears.

I've already looked on sap note 890976 for this and it was already updated on the system. However, since the version that we're currently using is ECC5.0 we need to further activate it using sap note 903118. But this sap note is not yet available.

Please advice on how to proceed.

Hi,

In the number ranges from FI you have to change the number range from external to interal (this is new from version 4.7

You change the number range 03 to internal

In the table taba (use SE16 to see the values) you can found the last external number used. This number you fill in as last used number.

Then it should be working

I've already done it.

However when I change the doc range to internal, error message "Create Document number range 03 using external number assignment." appears during the test run. And when I changed the range to external, error list "Please specify an internal number range" appears on the actual run.
