What is the importance of maintenance level in asset screen layout.

Dear friend,

There two types of screen layout in asset accounting

A. 1000 : Depreciation on main asset number level.

B. 200 : Depreciation on asset sub number level.

USE ;

If select 1000 depreciation on main asset numer level. Then system will calculate depreciation on main asset.

For example : you purchased one system( PC), and one extranal hard disc.

So, Extranal hard disc is the sub asset for main asset PC .

Now you want to calculate depreciation on PC as well as extranal hard disc then you have to select 1000 dep in main asset number level.

If you want to calculate sub asset like hard disc then select 2000 dep on sub asst no level.

Better suggestion is select 1000.
