Temporary checked out Files on Server TempFolder (Howto?)

Hi Experts,

Can Someone help me with customizing the Data Carrier Type for Checked out Dokuments in DMS? Temporary Documents should not be stored on Front End Client, but in a Folder on the Server. What can i do for reaching that?

hi,

to store file to server may be u have to give path of folder on server for data carrier type PC in dc20.

Please let me know if its working.

Please explain ur query.. Temp files will not be stored in front end PC , if u dont give any path against data carrier type PC (if using windows) in dc20..

While checking out, if u want the files to be stored in any specified location, it can be done for each user as foll..

in cv01n transaction screen itself, go to Extras -> User Specific Settings -> u can give directory name..

All checkout files will be stored in that directory..
