Hi All,

I am getting BP assignment problem in service desk. i successfully config. almost all features of service desk in my solman server. now when any new user create any service msg from satellite server (PRD) then "Reported By " BP not pick automatically. however if i use to any old user (user with which i tested full service desk while configuration) everything is fine.

When " Reported by " BP filled blank , same time if i check in "Transactional data" , user id is showing that place.

please suggest , if any job or settings need to recheck.

Regards

Andrew

Hi Amit,

Thanks for response , My issue is bit different in respect of your ref. link. i am facing problem of assignment of BP for few PRD users however few users BP come in Reported By when they log service msg from PRD.

Is all satellite users required SAP user id in solution manager also ?

bcoz yet i only provide few users SAP user id in Solution manager server which belongs to PRD server also.rest users from satellite server having only BP generated in solution independent mode.

regards

andrew

Hi,

I had already provided the answer and the background working details of the same.Did you create BP for your new PRD user?

That will solve your problem.

You need a business partner.

A dialog user (SU01 user) is only required if that person should work in Solution Manager.

What you need: the business partner in Sol Man needs to be "linked" to the user in PRD which is done via Identification Numbers ("Identification" tab in tx: BP)

For all users created via BG_GEN this is done automatically. But if you add an user in PRD afterwards you need to do the assignement for this BP/user manually (or add this user by calling tx: BG_GEN again)

Hi Christian ,

I created BP in with respect of all PRD server user. but when i create service msg. from satellite server (PRD) , service msg create with warning " Message 123456 created in Support Desk System

with following error: User ********* does not exist".

If i create a respective user in solman then error does not come.

please suggest.

This is only set in Sol Man.

Double click the entry and you will get a screen to change it if necessary.

Hi,

For any new user created you need to create a corresponding BP from DSWP --> Edit --> Business Partners. Once this is done. you should be able to see the "Reported By" field filled automatically.

Check Page 8 in [this document|https://websmp205.sap-ag.de/~sapdownload/011000358700001197002005E/Addtional_Information.pdf]

This will solve your problem.

Hi Ragu,

I added all Users with TC BP_Gen , so that end user BP will be solution independent.

So i think no need to go with DSWP>Edit> create BP.

same time all old tested users pick BP in reported by.
