Filtering in universal worklist

Hi All,

We are using Universal worklist for workflow approval. When I configure webdynpro application in "SWFVISU" using the workflow task and webdynpro application. I didn't give the system name.

In portal we have five system landscape, so I i register the Item Types in potal it is registered for all system. During SAP audit, they have asked to use filtering. Please let me know what is this filtering and how to use this.

Further when i register a system landscape in universal worklist the is field called "Roles". Please let me know what is the purpose of this field.
