Partner functions for output

Hi Friends,

What are all the partner fuctions applicable for output?........

Dear Kumar,

For sales order output --> Sold to party (SP)

For Delivery(Shipping documents)--->Ship top arty(SH)

For billing --->Bill to party(BP)

For Shipment documents(transportation)--->Forwarding agent(CR)

I just given the standard

If you want to assign the partner function PY then you need to assign PY partner function to specific output type in the IMG.

The assignemnt will takes place based on the requirement to whom you want to send the specific output.

SPRO>IMG>Sales and Distribution>Basic functions>Output control>Output determination>Output Determination Using the Condition Technique>Maintain Output Determination for Billing Documents>Assign Output Types To Partner Functions.

The output can be sent to any of the partners defined in the document.

Outputs are usually in the form of Order Confirmations, Freight List, Delivery Notes, Invoices & Shipping Notifications. Determining form of output is output determination.

Check within Path:

SPRO --> IMG --> Sales and Distributions --> Basic Functions --> Output Control --> Output Determination

--> Maintain Output Determination for Sales Activities

--> Maintain Output Determination for Sales Document

--> Maintain Output Determination for Billing Document

Here, in above there settings, we assign Partner Functions for Output Determination.

Note: For Information -

Path For Output Determination For Sales Documents:

Logistics -> Sales/distribution -> Master data -> Output -> Sales Document -> Create (t-code VV11)

Path for Output Determination for Delivery Documents :

Logistics -> Sales/distribution -> Master data -> Output -> shipping -> Create ( t-ode VV21)

Path for Output Determination for Billing Documents :

Logistics -> Sales/distribution -> Master data -> Output -> Billing Document -> Create ( t- code VV31)

Dear Friend,

That depends on your configurations.

You can assign any Partner Function to any Output based on your requirements.

The output Determination Configuration can be done at - IMG - SD - Basic Functions - Output Control - Output Determination - Output Determination Using the Condition Technique.
