Dear All,
I have a Finished Good that consists of 2 semi finished
Now I run MRP
FG Start Date: 15.03.2009 Finish: 16.3.2009
SEMI1 Date: 08.03.2009 Finish: 15.3.2009
SEMI2 Date: 04.03.2009 Finish: 15.3.2009
Shouldn't the FG start date be the earliest date for the semi like
Start: 04.03.2009 and Finish 16.3.2009 ?
Dear,
Check the setting of OPU3 for Adjust scheduling.
Adjust dates in lead time scheduling :- 1 Adjust dates to order start.
It is possible if the routing having two operation one SFG1 and SFG2. You will get the result as you want.
But if you are having different order for SFG1 and SFG2 then you will get the same result as per order date of semifinish material. As material should available at order start. FG start date will be the finish date for dependent requirement.
Hope clear to you.

Hi Rafik,
Based on what i see, it is OK, i think the set up is backwards scheduling & hence the system has proposed those dates.
If you need any more clarifications, please provide - the need date for the FG, PLDT / Inhouse Prod time, GR for FG & SEMI1 & 2.
If helpful award points
Regards,
Vivek

Hi,
FG Start Date: 15.03.2009 Finish: 16.3.2009
SEMI1 Date: 08.03.2009 Finish: 15.3.2009
SEMI2 Date: 04.03.2009 Finish: 15.3.2009
as i see that the semi1 and semi2 will be available at 15.3.2009
and it will gi to produce fg
i dun see any problem here
you should also consider which scheduling u used : basic or lead time
if you used basic then inhouse prod time is taken into consideration
if you used lead time you can check routing
anyway consider safety time, scheduling margin key for the distubance on shop floor as i see
you schedule is very tight between semi1,semi2 and fg
i hope it helps
best regards,
freddy
