I am trying to upgrade a DB from 2005A sp00 p 8 to 2007A p45. I was able to backup the DB and restore it to the SQL 2005 and then started my upgrade. During upgrading the system failed due. When I go back in to try the upgrage again I get an error that the "company DB is not consistent" Check the log file.
I check the file and it tells me the CINF compnaystatus is not vaild. The Status is at "U" which is one of the valid values.
How can I reset this to start the upgrade?
Joanne
Hi Joanne,
You need to use the original backup file before upgrade to restart the process. The failed db should not be used anymore. If you could not find the working one, log a ticket to SAP is your only option. There is no way that you could Correct inconsistent DB.
Thanks,
Gordon

Hi Joanne,
As soon you have restored the original backup again, you should run queries of note [1000846|https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMSZ3PTU4ODAwMDAr)/bc/bsp/spn/smb_searchnotes/display.htm?note_langu=E¬e_numm=1037574]].
Although in case there are or no results you should mention this in any support message you might log
as outlined in the Accelerated Upgrade Program ([B1AUP|https://websmp201.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700001047642008E]).
