IT - 0008

Dear Seniors,

In IT - 0008, if the fields Capacity Utility Level & Working Hours are not given any values (i.e. data isnt entered in them) & the fields r left blank, then in this case can we run the payroll?

I have this questn coz, If an employee is hired in a company then till we confirm him (i.e run action Confirm in pa40) - (for initial 6 mnths the employee is a trainee), we r not seeing any values in these fields of IT - 0008 but still the payroll is running smoothly. the values r seen in these fields only after the employee being confirmed.

In second case, we r not able to see these fields sometimes for new joinees, whereas it is visible for other employees who r with company from long time.

cud u help with the reason & solution?

The company's support consultants are not able to solve these issues..

Do help.

POINTS ASSURED

Thanks & Regards

    payroll-run-for-weekly

check the above thread for the detail of the Functionality of working hours and capacity utilisation

before go to that as u mentioned for traineee without maintaining the capacity working hours u are running the PAY ROLL right

so, are u maintaining the DWSR for planned working time in IT0007 for those employees

those feilds are feilds are filled directly if u maintian the IT007 no u cannnot run pay roll without IT007

Check once in ur test system to hire an employee without maintin IT007 and run the pay roll
