How to visualize a companies overall headcount over time (year per year)?

Hey there,

I am relatively new at SAP Analytics Cloud and I'm currently struggling with the following use case in Stories. I’ve also searched a bit for answers of my question, but now I’m even more confused.
So hopefully I can get any help from you guys:

I will show a companies overall headcount over time (year per year). My current data I got from a direct Excel file import. With the available measures it is possible to show, how the headcount has changed year per year. I am also able to show the current overall headcount (by adding up all positive and negative headcount changes).

With the following image, I hope I can visualize it a bit better for you.

Here you can see the companies overall headcount of 2018 divided by gender.

The table

shows how the headcount has changed every year.

Now I'm struggling, because I don't know how I can implement a dynamic headcount aggregation in Analytics Cloud, that shows the companies overall headcount year per year in this table. This is because the table either shows the total amount of employees of 2018 in every column (via function "GrandTotal (Headcount_Change_per_Year)"- see below),

or it is always like in picture one.

So do you have any advice, what I am doing wrong?

Thank you in advance for your help. It would be great if you can provide me some ideas.

Have a nice day and all the best

Albrecht
