BIP Log Files for Windows AD Alias creation

Hi experts,

Currently we have an big issue with the Windows AD Alias creation on our BIP. For existing Users we don't have any issues but if we assign a new user to our specific required AD group (that is part of the BIP Mapped AD Member Groups) and click on 'Update AD Groups and Aliases now', the new user alias won't appear within our BIP user administration...

We are wondering why that's append: During the last few weeks we don't had any issues with this process. But since a few days we are running into that issue which is causing a lot of trouble because we are not able to handle our user requests tickets anymore...

We are currently on BI Platform 4.2 Support Pack 3 Patch 1...

Does anyone of you knows this issue, or have an idea where we can find some additional information about that issue in some system logs?

    You will need to review CMC webapp logs and CMS server logs.

    There was a product defect on 4.2 SP3 fixed on patch 3, if you are on patch 1 then you are affected. Login to support and lookup SAP note 2389833. The work around (didn't always work) is to restart the CMS.
