hi,
I have a crosstab, with Business unit as column, and second level i have profit center, each Bu has some profitcenters and Total at the final, Now i have 2 problems arising.
1. I want to insert calculated field next to ALL bu's and compute some thing. I can edit Name of the Header using Header formula, but at PC level it is showing "total' if i edit the total name as required,then total name field for every BU is changing.
2. I want to insert a calculated field at the profit center level after the total, i can insert a field before total, but after total i can not.
some one please help me with this. I am using Crystal report 2008 advanced cross tab features.
For the New functionalities in CR2008 see the demos in the following link
[http://www.sap.com/solutions/sapbusinessobjects/sme/reporting/crystalreports/featuresfunctions/index.epx]
Look for powerful crosstab. Also try to download sample reports for CR2008 and see the crosstab reports.
Download the sample reports from here
[https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/bobj_download/main.htm]
look for Crystal 2008 samples.

Hi I can create a custom crosstab, but the problem, is The BUs and Profit centers for every month are dynamic, for every month there will be different number of rows and columns, is there a way that will solve this problem also.

Hi,
Both the requirements fall under the limitations of cross-tab features.
You may want to implement a custom cross tab by taking reference from the following SAP note:
Custom cross tabs are handy however user needs to manually write formulas for all the calculations that are required in each field.
Thanks
