Hey,
have the following Business Partner fields been added to the Search Dialogue / Display (fields often used for searching and customer identification)?
1.OCRD.Phone1 (phone number)
2.OCRD.MailZipCod (post code)
3.OCRD.E_Mail (Email address)
Thank you!
Best regards,
Elena
Hello,
We already fetch all these data from SAP B1 to SAP Customer Checkout.
OCRD.Phone1 (phone number) ,OCRD.MailZipCod (post code) ,OCRD.E_Mail (Email address)
The search screen of SAP Customer Checkout is completely configurable. So you can decide based on which fields you want to search in basic search and in advanced search.
This can be configured in Settings-> Dialog Settings -> Customer Search Dialog Settings.
Currently in this list we provide the option to select "Postal Code". However Email and Phone is not provided.
But we provide the option to search based on 10 additional fields.
So as a work-around, using our extension concept for B1if scenarios, the additional fields can be populated with Mobile and email address and then search activated on that.
I assume this to be not complex to do.

Hi Bikash,
Performing this does take additional time and a developer is needed.
It is a standard and regular requirement identify and search for customers both by phone number and email address.
I believe this is an oversight, and if it is not complex to do, perhaps the CCO development team could indeed add this into the next FP and solve the problem for once and for all.
Thanks.
Martin.
Hi Martin,
In general i agree with you that this is straight forward and simple to do.
I will include this in our backlog. FP06 is over, hopefully we can include this in our next FP07.
However for future delivery we are not allowed to make any commitments. So its not a commitment.

Hi Bikash,
I have read the article on how we can manipulate this step but it requires some development knowledge which I doesn't have. Is there any other way or someone can help me out with one? This is one of the basic requirement from customer to be able to search by phone. So need to get it done.
