I have a problem when trying to load SAP B1 2005 client on my Toshiba laptop.
When loading the application it takes more than 15 minutes to show me the companies and when I select one to access it, it takes again more than 15 minutes to give me this error message "connection to license server exceeded timeout"
Please note that I have Windows Vista installed with Symantec Norton 360 Antivirus software.
Windows firewall is off, also Antivirus firewall is off.
.Net framework 2 installed
SQL Native client installed
DI API installed.
I have many computers in my company and it's the only one that giving me this error message.

Where is the B1 Server. Is it installed locally on your laptop?
If the B1 server is on a different machine then the following could cause this.
Multiple Network connections enabled on your laptop.
Try to disable wireless if you are using both wireless and wired network.
Try to use the Server's IP address instead of the name.
