Add a standard field to Contact Attribute of Landing Page

Dear All,

We need to add a standard field in Contact Attribute of Landing Page

Our requirement is to see "Email Optin" in Contact Attribute.

Can anyone help me about this? We can see some of our cutom fields there but I have no idea how they are visible. but we can not add Email Optin there.

From where and how can we add this field to our datasource

Hi,

Attributes/Fields of structure CUAN_S_CP_CONTACT_ATTRIBUTES are getting listed in drop down. But as vineet mentioned the approach for Opt-in opt-out has been moved from IC_ROOT to MP_ROOT, Hence you have to use permission checkbox to opt-in/out for a contact.

I don't know if that is possible for an input field, but may I ask you what you need that attribute for?

If you add a permission-field to the landing page, the visitors can mark the check box for opt-in or opt-out.

But I'm also interested in how the attributes get visible in the dropdown menu. Maybe someone else can help.

As you said, we can add a permission field to manage opt-in and opt-out

But our requirement is if the user tick the checkbox of permission opt-in. also in IC_ROOT table insert a "X" value for Email-Optin field.

Because of this we are looking to bind an input field to Email_Optin of Ic_root, but we can not find it.

Hi Sepide,

The optin fields are storing permissions and also the field EMAIL_OPTIN from IC_ROOT table has been made obsolete as the permissions are now being stored in CUAND_CE_MP_ROOT table. These optin's are directly mapped in the permissions box of landing page and are not linked to input box hence the reason why you do not see Email Optin in the input help for contact data source. You will have to use the permission box to map the same.
