Hi,

I just want to ask if we have release strategy in DMS just like we can do in Material Management.

If any body can help me.

Hi Meenakshi

In DMS also there is status management.

You can define your own status network in DC10 transaction.

First create a document type and assign a status network to it in Define Document status

You can enter different statuses and the predecessors etc..there.

experiment with it and get back to us if you still have doubts.

You can assign Release Strategy using Digital Signatures in DMS..

These Digital Signatures can be assigned to statuses..

In spro ->ca-> dms->Approval->

Hi Meenakshi

If you are looking for digital signature then plz go through the wiki article"Approval Using Digital Signatures in DMS " in plm. You cann configure a digital signature for approval/release by the authorised person.

Well, i dont think you might require release stratergy other than which is mentioned.

in material master, you have to release the PO, in separate TCODE.

To avoid that, DMS makes it easy for you as " STATUS MANAGEMENT with DIGITAL SIGNATURE"

I dont think you require other than this...

Else, tell us the particular requirement, why you need ?

If you compare with MM, this is flexible.
