MDM Record restrictions using constraints

Hello All:

I have the following scenario.

-- I am using 2 contraints in parallel.

1) Source (Two Sources)

2) Business Units (4 Business Units)

-- All 4 Business Units belong to a single source

-- I have a single mdm security role which is restricted to a source and to 2 of its business units

-- I have allowed relationships/match to happen between the above 2 business units.

The above works fine.

But, I want to allow display only of all records belonging to the 2nd source and also want to allow display of records belonging to the remaining 2 business units.

Problem:

-- I cant assign the 2nd source and remaining business units to the same role i have described above, as it allows change access (create relationship/match)

-- To resolve this i created a 2nd security role which is display only. This role displays the 2nd source and the remaining 2 business units.

-- When i assign the above 2 roles to a user, i was accepting that I will only get display to the 2nd source and the remaining 2 business units, but it is allowing me to relate/match between all 4 business units and i can also modify the records for the source, which i only want to display.

Any help or suggestions are much appreciated.

Thanks

KT

roles work in "union" so you get all the access from both ur roles.
