Scheduling of Planned Order for dependent material

On exection of MRP, we are exepecting that Finish date/time of the dependent material's planned order should be the start date/time of the header material.

This is not observed

We are on ECC 6.0 and have Rep mfg with std routing. there are no inhouse time or schedule margin key values.

Generally it would be reverse of what you are saying, the Order start of the header material would be the child material requirement date and based on its Schedule margin key defination you would get the start date of the Child material.

It is same thing. What we are seeing is Order finsh date are comming up as same for all the material levels, weather we run MRP on basic date or Lead time schedule.

Go to OPU5 select your order type * click on it, inside in scheduling select Adjust Date- as Adjust basis date, dept requt. to order start.

Please run the mrp with planning mode-3 deleted and recreated and check your result.

In the material master data of head part, leave the fields of GR processing time and In-house production blank, then re-run MRP again to check.

We are doing same thing. weather we run MRP with basic date or lead time schedule same result
