Maximum line items a WBS template can contain?

Hi

I am looking for a maximum limit of WBS entries at one level in WBS template. Right now client is looking for maintaining 8000 WBS line items at level 2 in WBS/ Project template. Also, will there be any performance issues of any kind?

It is not advisable to config like that,mostly sys will not allow you to go beyond 99 levles. please check below SAP note .

maximum no. of level should not be more than 99 in your WBS hierarchy.

sys. will allow you to create up to 10000 nos of WBS in single project.
