standard templates for customizing data archiving objects

Gurus:

When I collecting delete/retention requirements from my clients, I think it is very helpful

if we have a delete/retention requirment form for each archiving object. The business client

can fill the form and sign off it.

Is there any standard form like this from SAP?

    Not that I know... Not all clients use all objects so each archiving project is specific to the company you're working for and it's up to you to put together a proposal.

    HI Christy,

    These are the things you need to mention when listing the Business requirements along with Retention period.

    Table name , Archive Object name,Retention period in days / months,Whether retrieval is needed for the Archived data or not.
