We are researching upgrade to GRC 5.3 from CC 4.0. Since GRC Access Control has to be installed on a java stack, we are thinking about installing on our Solution Manager java stack. Trying to avoid adding a java stack to our ECC 6.0 system.
Has anyone installed and run GRC Access Control from Solution Manager? Are there any drawbacks? Seems simple enough to connect from there to any other systems via RTA.
Thanks in advance,

Hi Margie
I have installed GRC AC on Solution Manager. You can install provided you have sized your solution manager server accordingly for GRC AC. There is no issues on installing on Solution manager or BI or any system provided you have sized your server to include GRC AC also.
For upgrading to GRC AC 5.3 , just download the installion guide and you will get all the notes needed for upgrading it as well.
