Hi All,
I want to create a import custom declaration from inbound good receipt without transit document creation.
Can you please suggest, is it possible or not in standard SAP (or) any badi or user exit is needed or we can never ever able to create import declaration from inbound goods receipt without creation of transit document (with out entering T1 & Preliminary document number in inbound delivery.
Thanks in Advance

Hi Eswar,
You can very well create Import Declaration from your Material Document in Standard SAP.
Purpose of having Transit Document is totally different. Transit process will only be useful for goods that are not intended to remain in the European Community customs territory, but instead are only passing through it.
For your scenario, lets say, You want to Import some goods, so PO, Inbound delivery/shipment & finally Goods receipt will take place, after which with reference of Good Receipt , you can create Import Declaration in GTS.
Hope it helps.
