workflow purchase request: does not sent the mail

Hi all,

I've problem with the workflow for purchase request with user exit in the production system does not send the mail, but in develop and test system working properly.

Please, could you help me or is there a procedure of customizing?

Approval wokflow mail sent to approvers or notification mail ?

Hello Gaetano,

So, first: is mail generated in SOST transaction ?

If yes, check report RSCONN01 is scheduled in order to send mails from SAPconnect to SMTP gateway.

Hi GB,

sending mail, do you mean in SAP Business Workplace or an external mail.

If SAP Business Workplace, check if transports were proper and check with agent assignment is present in PRD.

If external mail, check with BASIS for SCOT/SMTP setting, probably the 'Node in Use' in SMTP is not active/ticked.

Hi GB,

you didnt answer me, if its mail to SAP Inbox or external mail.

If external mail check SOST whether you see your mail in Waiting status or Error status.

Hi,

Go to SWETYPV-> click on event -> Chk Receiver.

It shd be ur WF number.

If not asssigned , write ur wf number manually.

Same u can check in SWEL/SWUE also.

there is EVent Receiver...chk there.

Hi Saumya,

I've tried to lauch the trx SWUE for check the workflow but the system give me this message:

No (active) event receivers exist - no. message WA702

The user has created a purchase request but the workflow does not send the mail.

Hi Gaetano,

Check if by any chance the event linkage between the BO event and the workflow is active. You can check it in t-code SWETYPV.

Greetings..;-)

> The WF is working fine in Test and Dev Server..!!

> The Issue is of Sending Mail..!!

There could be differences in the Configurations of the Servers..!!

As of mail Sending...Check these points..!!

1> SCOT Settings exist - Check with the Basis Team for Sending Mail to Outlook..!!

2> If Mail sending is not to Outlook, then Check the Bindings of all the Tasks within the WF along with the assigned Agents..!!

Event Linkgae you have already Checked..!!

Sometimes the Agent Assignment does not gets transferred from One Client to another..!!

Check these and let me know..!!

hi

please check whether the system user which is used for workflow is active. if not activate it in SU01. there may be changes for user locked

Hi Gaetano,

Could you please explain the error in detail. Are you getting any error in production or just the mail in not getting sent?

Could you check the workflow log and quote the exact problem.
