How to show current month and previous month sales in webi

How can show current months Sales in one column and previous Sales in the other column based on a user prompt for the Current month?

For Example is user enter May 2018 for may how can I show a Column for May 2018 sales and for another column previous month April 2018 sales

if your datasource is BEX-query, you best fix it in the query designer via 2 restricted keyfigures (customer exit on 0calmonth)

if your datasource is an universe, you best create prompt on universe level and new dimensions or follow this tip
