Cost component Structure

Hi,

i have added the cost element interval to the cost component-cost element.

when saving it i got the warning message " Maintenance after deactivating Y9 makes cost estimates incomparable".

i ignored the message and saved it.

but the active check box of the cost component structure is deactivated.

should we active this check box?

Hi!

When you are maintaining any cost element interval in your cost comp structure, you have to maintain it after deactivating the cost comp structure only. Once you maintain it, after that activate the same and save it. This is the std. procedure which should be followed. Pls come back if useful.

i suggest use Cost Element Group instead of individual cost elements.

if its overlap the system will not allow you to save.

Hi,

You have to activate the cost component structure again In OKTZ.

as righly stated by Taral, once you make changes cost compoent gets deactivated. you need to activate is again.
