HI,
There could be some error in Tool area iView. If you don't require it, you can remove its visibility. Open Portal Content -> Content provided by SAP -> End user content -> Default frameworkpage. Open the page. The iViews are listed. Uncheck the box for visible option of tool area iView. Then save the page. Refresh the page or Relogin to portal. If you are using Search option in tool area, reply back. Else this itself could solve the issue.

Hi Harini,
Thankssssssss a lottttt. It is really been very helpful, by the right path is
Open Portal Content -> Content provided by SAP -> End user content --> standard portal users --> Dehault framework
Can you kindly answer the following question
1) What is the functionality of this iView .. as I want to know what could be the effect
2)If I want it to be visible then what is the way to resolve the issue
Thanks and regards,
Partha
Hi,
This iView is used for TREX search and display collaboration link. If you are not integrating TREX, then this iView is not required. In case you are using one of these options, then you can keep this iView visible. To make it visible, follow same process and check the box and save. From there itself, you can select the iView by marking the checkbox and preview it. Once error comes up, check the defaultTrace file in the server.
Drive:/usr/sap/<SID>/<instance_number>/j2ee/cluster/server<X>/log/defaultTrace.trc
Check the latest defaultTrace by date and time. (Hint: It will be the smallest file by size). You can scroll last to the file and check which is causing the error. It could be permissions issue or some other issues.
Regards,
Harini S
