Hi,

Can someone please explain what the stock value of 234 means and if I am to place a sales order for 500 on 12.6.2018, will I get a warning during sales order release or not?

Thanks.

Hello Kiran,

The screenshot shown seems to be MD04. There is no meaning to compare ATP result between CO09 and MD04.

FAQ note 547118 - FAQ: Result of ATP calculation is always helping me to check ATP result. Hope it is helpful for you too.

Hi Jessica,

That was indeed from CO09 transaction. 2.png. I had displayed all details "on".

I just wanted to know if a sales order was placed on 12.6, would the system consider 264,400 (264) as available stock or

3 674,056?

Thanks,

Kiran

Depends on what your checking rule says for this Checking group of availability check in OVZ9 for your material in the specified plant..Pl check

If you want reliable information then you should not really have items with past dates in that transaction.

And where do you see a 234 in that screenshot?

And why you would place an order for June 12, this is last week, or do you talk about December 6?

And why should you not enter a sales order if it had arrived from your customer, why don't you just test it?

Hi,

1)Sorry, that was a typo. The first line says stock 264,400. That's what I was pointing out.

2)It's not a new order I am trying to place. It has been an order that has been placed and I am trying to find out why I did not receive a warning message due to lack of stock since the order was placed for 500 quantities. The checing group and checking rule have been validated (02, PP).

3)Well, I would like to have a warning message if there is no stock in my sales order release to avoid production issues later.

Appreciate your time.

1. First of all, in sales order, the scope of check will execute based on 02/A (Availability check/Checking Rule), not 02/PP. And there is a fair difference between the 2.

2. So, if you want to get warning msg in the sales order. Then it should be supported by config in OVZ2.

Now, whats your query?

Thanks,
JP

I don't understand how this situation arise. When the material is activated for ATP, automatically, once you save the sale order, the requirements would be passed on to production which you can see in MD04. This being the case, why you want a warning message from SD
