Hi,
for a new installation I uploaded the JAVA components DVD (NW04S - AIX/ORACLE) from site to the server (AIX 5.3).
The DVD was in following parts:
51033513_part1.exe
51033513_part2.rar
51033513_part3.rar
51033513_part4.rar
on the server when I tried to extract the data from the DVD I get the following error:
0402-004 There is not enough memory available now.
I have checked the memory limits for the user as per the note 1210459 and set it to unlimited for the root user but no luck.
Any idea....

Hi Markus,
I ran the exe part on the server which gave the error mentioned above.
@Eric: I ran this file on windows and was successful extracting them. Then I zipped (using winzip) the folder which was extracted and uploaded it to the server but was then unable to unzip it.
The unzip command says cannot find the zip file.On searching onnet I found that the error was due to the file corruption which led me to the conclusion that the exe file cannot be extracted on windows which might would have led to corruption.
Please suggest ........

Hi Mayank ,
Down load unzip from http://www.info-zip.org/ and install it on your AIX system ,then try to unzip your file.
Abhijeet
He does not need unzip but the program UNRAR (those are no ZIP files):

If you successfully extracted the data in Windows then it shouldn't be corrupt.
Please indicate how you are trying to extract the folder you zipped.

Yes.
The Windows "Winzip" contains algorithms for .rar (they licensed it) - but the Unix unzip (infozip.org) does not.
