How PS can be helpful for HCM?

hello All

Client has asked me to provide a solution regarding employee salaries cost, as they need to distrubet it with multible Cost centers, and i offered that we will IT0027 for that.

but the client also me why not using PS module to also acheive the same solution and I did not how to ansewr.

So my Question is what is PS? and why should i go for PS integeration? and what is the advantages of useing ?what more PS can provide me?

Hi - I recommend talking with your client's accountants; is your client using Project Accounting? If not, you may not need PS with HR. Typically HR costs go to cost centers (almost 100% of the time in my experience). Please discuss requirements with client's accounting department.

If you need to "split" an employee's salary over various cost centers (as Tammy mentioned), you can use "cost assignement" on each wage type that makes up their salary.....I would look into that.....and yes, if you use PS, it will tie into that if set up to do so.
