Partial lots

Hi all,

Please anybody can guide me what is the purpose of partial lot ,how we can create it and what the customization is required.

Hi Raj,

You can go for partial lots i.e. inspection for partial quantity of the total lot when the quality supplied by the Vendor is high standard in case of GR etc., This can be done using sampling procedure & sampling scheme and assign them in the inspection plan. Please through transactions QDV1 and QDP1.

Hi Raj,

Partial lots describe a partial quantity of the product to be manufactured. If partial quantities with different attributes are present, the total quantity of a production order can be divided into partial lots. Several inspection points can refer to one partial lot. A partial lot combines inspection points under the aspect of quality. If the finished product is managed in batches, the partial lots can be assigned to individual batches. Several partial lots can be assigned to one batch.
