Hello All,

could anyone let me know if there is a difference in the material type used for ETO & MTO, are we gone use the same material type, or there are different option out there to use .

Hi

For both ETO and MTO the material type is same that is FG finished goods

But it is differentiated with planning strategy in the material master via strategy group

For MTO (make to order) it is 20 strategy group

For ETO(engineer to order) i think PP colleagues define customized strategies according to client requirements

It it is ATO (Assemble to order) it is 82 strategy group
