BP data missing in some Lead transactions of MSA.(Data Inconsistency)

The BP information(Company name & Contact person) is NOT getting displayed on some of the Lead transactions on MSA. Although,it is displayed on most of the Lead transaction on MSA.

1) If I download say 20 Leads from CRM Server to MSA, the BP data is missing only on some 4-5 Leads. All other Lead have the correct BP information.

2) And, if 2 Leads are downloaded for the same BP, 1 Lead has the BP data whereas the other does NOT have it.

-This shows that the BP data is available in MSA database but it is NOT displayed on the MSA tileset.

-Also, we are able to pull the BP (Activity Partner & Contact person) under the respective BP search on MSA.

We checked the Client SQL database table and all the data (Master & Transaction) are present there.

However, when we check the tables for the Lead where BP is missing, the BP information is NOT available. i.e, the BP information is not available at the table level for that particular transaction.

In spite of all the Master data available in database level.

Can anyone please help us with this?

Hi All,

We are having a similar problem where for an activity which was created in CRM online, with an activity partner which is already been  replicated in MSA, the BP number is shown in the transacation BUT the name of the activity partner is blank.

Hi,

I feel the problem might be in SMOKNA1SHT table which might not be having all the entries like in CRM.

Please check if the respective BPs have entries in SMOKNA1SHT or not.

The BP data is inconsistent on what fields. Only the BP name, Contact Person or on other fields also.

You can actually write a simple report and find out the List of Business Partners which are inconsistent between CRM & CDB based on the above fields. Once you get the List you can download all the Business Partners using the Transaction CRMM_BUPA_SEND.

The BP is available in the database table as well as on the MSA UI when we do the BP search.

The problem is it is not displayed on the Lead transaction. However, we can view the respective BP upon manual search.

Is the BP/CON available in both SMOKNA1 and SMOKNA1SHT on the Mobile clients?

Yes. They are available in the Table level as well as able to pull through the Company & Contact person search on MSA UI.

SAP suggested to implement Note: 1224351.

It didn't help.

Hi,

are you using always the same process type, is this a standard type or customer owned one, and which partner function are you using for the BP? Is it '00000009' - Activity Partner?

Did you also maintain the table CRMC_MSAACTPARTN accordingly?

Hi Wolfhard,

Its Custom process type , we use only one process type for all leads. we maintained CRMC_MSAACTPARTN. we still face the issue.

Note : If we create 4 leads for same BP, at least 1 Lead does NOT display the BP (Company name -Activity Partner 000009 & Contact Person) and all the other Leads displays the BP details.

Hi All,

Finally, SAP has replied to try this new SAP Note: 866433 which was updated yesterday.

We tried this Note and the bug has been fixed.

Hi,

in case you are able to reproduce the issue (and 2) looks that you are able to do so) then you better open an OSS message to allow the SAP support to debug and fix the error.

Hi there,

Yes.We are able to reproduce it as and when we want the "error samples".

One more finding, we DON'T see this issue on DEV setup. It is working fine.

However, when we try to upload the same flat file containing 24 Leads on Testing environment, invariably we get the "BP data missing" at least for 3 Lead transactions.

This is the case on Production environment as well.

We are already contemplating on OSS ticket.

Hi Jags,

Since you are not able to reproduce this error in Dev, can you try doing initial download from CRM to CDB of Sales Transactions in Q environment.

Also can you check the partner table of sales transaction (SMOVBPA) has the guid of sfakna1 filled.

Hi Vivek,

We can try the "initial" download again on Testing setup.

However, is it recommended in the Production setup?

Already, MSA has huge data inconsistency issues.
