Japanese character getting printed as junk

Former Member

Hi All ,

I am using script for picking list and smartform for packing list and delivery. Print preview comes absoluterly correct for all the three documents , But when i print packing list or delivery note one byte japanese ( Katakana ) characters are printed as junk . Output type is same for packing list and delivery note but it is different for picking list which is printed correctly on same printer , So i guess printer level settings are fine.

Can you pls help me for this strange problem ?

Thanks & Regards,

Amee Popat

Hi Amee,

Plz cehck the printer configurations as well as the paragraphformat and character formats taht are used in the smartform.

As u said that the printer is printing japanese cahracters correctly for the other form, then there can be a problem with the paragraphformat and character formats taht are used in the smartform.

check the font and all so that u can get a better idea
