how to prevent inherit partner from equipment to order or notification?

when i add equipment partner , the partner doesn't save although there is a success massage. when i tried to find out the reason, i found that in save the system tries to find out if there is an inherit checkbox for notifications and orders. if the partner is customized in the profile of the order or notifications so the partner saved regardless if the checkbox marked or not.

i don't want to add the partner for each partner profile of orders and notifications ( i have many different profiles ) .

how can i save the partner in the equipment without it being customized in each profile ?

Hi Shahar,

I am not sure, how you are linking Notification and Order. It can a custom check or development in your system.

Is the Partner Determination is assigned to Equipment Category in Config. Can you please share the screenshot of the message you receive for our understanding.

As per Standard Process, you need to assign the Partner Determination Procedure for the Equipment Category in Config, so when you create the Equipment, you can enter the Partners. Using this equipment if you create the Notification, this partner will be transfered to Notification or Order, but still it will allow you to change.

Hi,

Check below table, whether the Copy partner determination is checked.

Also, If Partner determination procedure is not assigned to Equipment, then you cannot assign a partner in Equipment Master data.

Kindly share us the screenshot of the place you are maintaining the data in the equipment.
