Hi Chandra,

We can find the inactive profile after a system copy. If this sis the case go to RZ10 and Select the profile which you want to delete and go the menu Profile>Delete>Allversions-->of a profile.

Thanks,

HI,

u just goto rz10 - go to left top corner - profile - select delet option - first it wil ask to delet from entry - second it will ask to delet from os level(usr/sap/sid/sys/profile) that time u give " no "

then u can have your original profile in your list .

Use transaction rz10 to edit the profiles. But be careful while deleting profile parameters:

Inactive parameters and value changes provide a good history of the changes done in the profile. In any case if you want to remove them just modify the instance profile at OS level and remove the lines containing the inactive parameters, then restart the system.

Basically go to /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/profiles and edit the files and save.

Go to RZ10 >> Utilities >> import profiles >> Of Active Servers.

After this, check it in RZ10. RZ10 usually displayes the parameter values from the database which is copied from the profiles in OS level during startup.
