Mass change of Reorder point on MRP areas for materials

Hi,

Is there any process to upload mass change of reorder point on MRP areas for materials.

Please suggest.

Hi Pavithra,

I know this is an old thread and my answer may not be relevant to you anymore but maybe it will help others. Are you trying to do a mass change for the reorder points of the MRP Areas? If so, go to tcode SA38, then run program RMMDDIBE. Then go to create/change with Data tab. Select change MRP area and there you can change the reorder points for your MRP areas.

Hi,

When I am doing mass change of reorder point through MM17 tcode selecting MARC table,it will chnage at plant level and getting reflected in material master once I save changes.

But I need it at storage location level.I tried to do this through MM17 tcode selecting MARD table,which will ask for storage location data(i.e storage location level).But after I save the changes,changes are not getting reflected in Display material-MRP1 view.

Can anyone pls suggest why this is happening.

MM17 will mass change the reorder point at plant level.

Entering new reorder point value and clicking on "save" will do the changes imemdiately.Is this correct.

Can we undo changes if anything wrong is done?

Hi,

Once you save the changes you cannot undo.....

But just after you click on the carry out mass maintenance button and before clicking on save button you have the option of the undo button in the application toolbar.

Will this change of reorder point(MINBE) in MARC table in MM17 gets affected to all the other tables where this reorder point is maintained.

Hi,

Go to MM17 and select Plant data for material (table name MARC) and execute.

Next iput the material number range which are to be changed and plant and execute.

Afterwards go to select fields and select Re-order point.

In MM17,it will ask for variant.

How do i choose a variant here

in mm17 select line plant level data marc and execute. no need to select variant

Hi, dont enter variant

Just select MARC/Plant Data material row and then execute

in next screen enter the material from and to , enter ur plant

again execute

after dat select the materials for which u need to change the re order point

click on select fields tab @ left side corner, then from drop down list list select re order point option , there u can change

try se16 and enter table marc-plant data you will get present rol,max level,safety level for all amterials . for which you want to change go to mm17 and select table marc and change the required rol.
